This week John describes the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on his urgent care business and his wife, Kay's, home services agency.
Both provide essential services, so they can continue to run during the pandemic. Each has its own challenges, due to reduced demand for services, and the challenge of providing care while avoiding infecting patients, clients and employees in the face of limited personal protective equipment.
John describes the adjustments they made to keep his urgent care clinics open, and the steps Kay took to continue providing care to her clients.
He also describes their initial experiences attempting to access SBA funds through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan and the Paycheck Protection Program.
