After growing up incredibly shy and moving around a lot, she found herself going to college at 16, captain of the speech and debate team at 17 in her college and eventually on local and national broadcasts both for TV and a prominent YouTube channel. It was at that YouTube channel where Gwendolyn Gay experienced the necessary friction to launch herself into a business that provided some hard lessons and ultimately the path to her joy and freedom to be who she was born to be.
