Over the past week, I've stepped back from sharing personal posts on my feed out of respect for the movement and the voices that NEED to be heard right now.
People are hurting. My heart is aching. And social media has been a crazy place lately. We've seen everything from silence to outrage, from bullying to fake allyship, from tone-deaf posts to healthy conversations.
My stance on the topic - passion for equality - is not new or trendy, and I believe my voice as a White ally for the Black Lives Matter movement must be shared.
In this episode, I’m sharing my response, how I’m communicating with my children, thoughts on navigating social media, my reaction to Dave Ramsey’s response, and how to make sure progress comes from all of this.
