D.L. Byron moved to NYC in 1971 at age 18 to pursue a music career, with 200 and some odd dollars in his pocket, a week's worth of clothing, and a guitar. Through hard work, luck and people willing to help him, he made his way from a job in a record store to a song in the top 5 on the charts. He still works daily on his music.
