The Rental co-writer and director Dave Franco discusses the tricky tone the film balances, his approach to working in and subverting the horror genre, what he learned from working with filmmakers like Barry Jenkins and Seth Rogen, and more. 

The film, starring Dan Stevens, Shiela Vand, Jeremy Allen White, and Allison Brie, follows two couples who rent a house for an idyllic oceanside getaway, but things go from celebratory to sinister once they arrive. The Rental will be available It's In Select Drive-Ins, Theaters and On-Demand July 24th!
