In this interview with Dr. Jennifer Spector, we learn how she transitioned from practicing podiatrist to full-time medical editor for a popular podiatric online journal.
After completing her residency, Jennifer spent several years building her practice. She later began volunteering at one of her professional associations. She chaired several committees and held several leadership positions at the American Association for Women Podiatrists, becoming president of the organization in 2018.
While at the AAWP she had many opportunities to write and edit others' writing for the newsletters and other documents the organization produced. That ultimately led her to her current position as Associate Editor for Podiatry Today.
