One of the women I’ve had the privilege of joining along her journey is Dr Caroline van der Werff – a doctor from Port Alfred, Eastern Cape. This doctor recently birthed her firstborn and chose to have a midwife-led homebirth. Caroline shares her experiences in and around pregnancy and birth as well as how she had to shift her mind from being a doctor to becoming a mother.
