If we are to heal divides and fix broken relationships, we need to develop a level of understanding and empathy. Additionally, we begin to free ourselves from the burden of always needing to express an opinion or thought and listen better.

He is also a Professor of Communication Studies and teaches classes on communication, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.
