Teaching students to write procedural texts is easy, right?! I know it seems like just writing down a bunch of steps, but there's so much more to it!
This type of writing first requires students to:
understand the procedure for what they are going to write about [a recipe, an experiment, directions...] break that procedure down into steps get the steps in the right order use the right transition words and a lot more!In today's episode, I break teaching "how to" writing down and show you how to help your students enjoy the process.
