For so many of the clients I’ve worked with, they are very good at prioritising everyone else and bumping themselves down the bottom of the list. Which is our version 1.0 self.
When you decided to have WLS, it was perhaps the first time ever that you had priortised yourself. It’s the first time that you said - this is about me. It’s my time. It’s my turn.
You do all of the things to support this - invest the time, money, and put the work to make your surgery a success.
But then the old ways can start to sneak back in....listen for more.
