— “The truth is everything serves us in one form or another. Nothing is inherently bad or good but rather neutral. It’s us that gives it the context.”

His story has a lot to do with integrating power, freedom, and a healthy self image. At a young age, he didn’t know what it was like to have a sense of power. There was a skewed version traveling through his lineage, only to end up on his door step.
Loncen’s dad was a rather intensely scary individual. This made it rather difficult to embody, let alone understand what a healthy sense of power was. Through his early years, he learned to be subservient to not rock the boat. He also did a lot of spiritual bypassing as he swore he would never be like him.
For years, he managed to avoid difficult emotions, choosing instead to swallow the grenade. It worked until he came across the right relationship that brought up all the things he was avoiding. For the first time in his life, he started to experience rage filled outbursts. At the time he didn’t know that he could experience emotions without having to act on them. he would often lose control screaming at the top of my lungs when he felt violated. This was always followed by feelings of guilt and shame, with lots of self-judgment.
Today he’s in a much different place. He is experiencing what true power is, which is the power of directed focus and choice. While experiencing a true sense of sovereignty and personal authority.
