— Patti Henry believes that men need healing. Her belief is that men need help getting reconnected to their emotional selves so that they can take their whole selves with them into a marriage or into the workplace or wherever. The problem for men begins with how they were treated as boys. Our culture has a long-standing tradition of teaching our little boys to cut off from their feelings. This makes them emotionally unavailable to themselves as well as others.
Valeria Teles interviews Patti Henry — the author of “The Emotionally Unavailable Man: A Blueprint For Healing.”
