“The chemical structure that chemists and pharmacists get to create the drugs that we use today are from nature. These are the chemicals in plants, these are the essential oils” says Dr. Eric Zielinkski, author of The Essential Oil Apothecary. Dr. Zielinski explains that many people are too quick to write off essential oils as pseudoscience, when there is actually an abundance of scientific evidence proving that they are a key contributor to our health and wellbeing.
Unfortunately, there has been widespread misinformation regarding essential oils and their proper use in recent years. Because MLMs have sent out thousands of people who, despite being well-intentioned, are not in the medical or aromatherapy fields, essential oils have been largely discredited. However, it is important to recognize that essential oils actually serve as the foundation of most modern-day medicines!
