How can an employer persuade employees to work better?
I suppose it depends on what you mean by “better.” If you mean more effectively, I think inspiring a sense of ownership and inclusion is important. When employees feel like the success of a company hinges on their involvement, they feel an obligation to perform better. If they are acknowledged and rewarded for their efforts and feel like their contributions matter, they may be persuaded to contribute as much as they can.
