When we hear about melatonin, most of us think of it as helping us sleep better. That’s true, but did you know that melatonin is a very powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant? It helps your cells not to rust out so quickly.

This gland, the pineal gland, has been referred to as our ‘third eye.’ When light enters our eyes, the pineal gland is what makes melatonin. Melatonin is also made in complete darkness.
