Most salespeople feel like they’re in a battleground when selling to today’s prospects. This dilemma boils down to the methods used, thus we take a deeper look at the old way vs. new way of selling.
With the old way of selling, prospects feel manipulated into a sale thus triggering sales resistance and you’re instantly viewed as a commoditized salesperson. But with the new way of selling, prospects see you as a trusted authority leading to more laydown sales.
My guest in this episode, Stephen Andrews, earned $34,000 in commission last December and he attributes this to learning the new method of selling we teach.
We talked about the differences between the old way vs. new way of selling and he shared that although he found some success with the former, the latter gave him more success in connecting with prospects as it put the human back in the conversation.
