— Talking about just the brain is not enough when talking about trauma. Every person on the planet has experienced some form of trauma whether that be the little "t" traumas or big "T" traumas. After gathering historical pieces from her clients, Ashley Fredericks begun to ask questions about family and relational dynamics, as well as any adversarial life experiences along the way. They talk about triggers, core beliefs about self and others, and also the ways in which to access connection to "the inner child.” The practice of yoga in Ashley’s own life has been highly beneficial which is what prompted her to specialize in trauma healing married with yoga.

Ashley has her Masters in Social Worker from Denver University. Her background in teaching trauma-informed yoga is helpful in the work that she provides as a therapist. Ashley has a background working with a variety of populations including the juvenile justice system, community mental health, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, victims of interpersonal violence and trauma survivors. Ashley's specialty as a therapist is in anxiety, depression, and trauma.
