However, without laying the groundwork to choose a right partner, we may be caught in repeated struggles and eventually become disillusioned about the prospect of finding a compatible partner. Dr. Lake, owner of Lake Professional Psychology Corporation provides services to the general public, as well as police officers and veterans to help them heal from exposure to trauma and the darker side of human tendencies. She draws from over 20 years of experience working with survivors of sexual abuse, accident victims, psychiatric clients, and those suffering from low self-esteem, grief, anxiety, or depression.
