Christopher Willis, Managing Director at Latitude, is closely watching the political developments in the US and advises other investment immigration professionals to do the same. In a candid conversation about the state of the global investment immigration industry, Willis says he anticipates a surge in applications from the country in the next few months following the upcoming mid-term elections.
The seasoned professional, who has lived all over the world and is currently based in the Cayman Islands, tells The Investment Immigration Podcast Host, Salman Siddiqui, that while investment immigration programs in Europe are expected to emphasize residency programs as opposed to citizenship opportunities to alleviate the concerns of the European Commission, solutions still exist for HNWIs looking to quickly get a powerful second or third passport in the post-pandemic world. One quick way is to get a passport from a Caribbean country first while they wait for their citizenship applications to mature in Europe following years of residencies and due diligence checks, he adds.
