In today’s episode, I invite Damon West on the show to share his story of how he went from being a promising quarterback to becoming dependent on methamphetamines, being sent to jail, and then transforming his life to become a college professor and best-selling author. On May 18th, 2009, a judge sentenced Damon West to 65 years in a Texas prison. Back then, Damon was known as the Uptown Burglar: the ring leader of a group of addicts responsible for the uptown burglaries. Now he has evolved from being behind bars to being a global inspiration.
