A few months ago, I had a conversation with one of my daughters on the issue of pride vs. pridefulness. It was amazing and insightful. Today I am going to share an experience my daughter had in sixth grade that taught her that girls and women should be self-deprecating to be accepted and liked. It will blow your socks off. You may even relate.
Then we will delve into the difference between pride and pridefulness and how to help our kids to know the difference and allow themselves to take pride in their accomplishments. It matters!
