“I held his hand, praying, as he passed from this life to heaven. And I knew that I would need to depend on my faith and everything I had learned about the character of God to carry on.” Today we continue our new podcast series called “How Great is Our God”, focusing on the different attributes of our amazing God. Debbie Strobel, our Moms in Prayer Arkansas State Coordinator, joins us today. She shares how even in one of the hardest circumstances of her life, God showed Himself as her Comforter and Provider. God wants to be that for you too!

ABOUT OUR GUEST
In 2004, a friend from church invited Debbie to a new prayer group she was starting called Moms in Prayer. Her sons were both moving from private to public school that year. She knew they needed much prayer for the transition. God worked miracles that first year and has continued to do so throughout her Moms in Prayer journey. Through Moms in Prayer, she has learned the power of praying in unity with other moms. The women in her group are her closest friends, and ones she knows she can trust with anything. She also learned the power of praying Scripture.
Debbie married her college sweetheart, Michael, in 1977. They were married for 44 years until he unexpectedly went to be with the Lord after suffering a heart attack. They raised two wonderful sons who are married to believing women. Preston is an officer in the Coast Guard, and he and his wife made Debbie a first-time grandma in March of 2023 with the birth of Ronan Michael! Grant and his wife live in northwest Arkansas. Besides MIP, her hobbies include pastel painting and doing activities with her two rescue dogs.
