— Without pain, why would you seek to go deep within? When someone is depressed, there are two possible outcomes: either sinking into despair and never emerging from it. Or, they can also go inwards to heal themselves or to receive assistance in their healing. As part of the Divine's plan, depression forces us to make that decision either way. Unless you're on a slow awakening path, you wouldn't even bother going inwards without pain. People on a slow awakening path are those who have not yet experienced pain, but have begun to ask the Big Life questions and have begun to examine themselves. ~ Sheetal
