As we reflect on 2023, it's important to consider the fact that we’ve all picked up offenses over the past twelve months. One of the ways we stay healthy and wholehearted is doing our forgiveness work. The church isn't always clear about how to forgive, leaving many of us with the right motive, but not always the right methods. Sometimes we even confuse forgiveness with reconciliation, trust, or with forgetting. As you move through the rest of this year and into the next, keep in mind that becoming a wholehearted leader at home, work and in the community requires each of us to own what we can, forgive what we can, and reconcile where we can.
