Captain Miranda Adams' upbringing was steeped in a love for the outdoors and aquatic adventures. Surrounded by water, fishing tournaments, and a family deeply passionate about nature, Miranda developed an early affinity for the sea and outdoor exploration. Despite not pursuing higher education, Miranda initially embarked on a career in insurance, following her father's guidance. However, the untimely passing of her father in 2019 served as a catalyst for introspection, prompting Miranda to reevaluate her life's trajectory. Realizing the fleeting nature of existence, she resolved to pursue her true passion for outdoor adventures wholeheartedly.
Miranda's journey took a thrilling turn when she participated in a rigorous 21-day survival challenge in Buena Vista, Colombia. With a "mind over matter" mindset, she approached the unknown with courage and resilience. From nerve-wracking blindfolded insertions into the wilderness to encounters with local authorities, Miranda navigated each obstacle with determination and grace. Today, Miranda finds fulfillment in her role conducting manatee tours for a Florida-based company, indulging her passion for outdoor exploration and wildlife conservation.
Miranda remains committed to living life with spontaneity and open-mindedness, eschewing rigid plans for the future in favor of embracing the unknown.
