Carrie O'Toole is an author, speaker, filmmaker, and mom. After adopting her son Sam when he was 3 years old, Carrie & her husband spent the next 8 years in a heartbreaking battle. They went through therapy, surgeries, and multiple diagnoses as Sam struggled to fit into the O'Toole family.
Ultimately, Carrie & her husband made the painful choice to relinquish custody of Sam and place him in the home of another adoptive family.
