Gary Arndt is an award-winning travel photographer, podcaster, and world traveler who has visited over 200 countries and territories across all seven continents. Originally from Wisconsin and an Eagle Scout, Gary sold his internet company before the dot-com bubble burst and embarked on a global journey in 2007.
With no prior photography experience, he taught himself the craft while traveling full-time, eventually earning prestigious accolades like Travel Photographer of the Year in North America and multiple Lowell Thomas Awards. During his 13-year adventure, Gary documented his travels through his popular blog, "Everything Everywhere," capturing moments from photographing polar bears in Canada to landing on the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier.
In 2020, when the pandemic halted travel, he launched the "Everything Everywhere Daily" podcast, which explores fascinating historical and educational topics. With over 40 million downloads, the podcast allows Gary to share his love of learning while continuing to explore the world at a slower pace.
