Klein recently came out with a new non-contact voltage tester called the NCVT-3.
I’m a huge fan of Klein tools because I’ve tried other brands and have been very disappointed.
You can use a non-contact voltage tester to double check there’s no electricity running to your electrical box. This comes in handy when installing new lights, outlets, switches, etc.
The new NCVT-3 comes with a digital display and a LED light that can be used independently from the voltage tester.
It also has a LED bar graph that shows you the amount of voltage.
You can check it out over on Klein’s site
or buy it at Home Depot for around $26
Either way it’s good to have a tool like this to double check the electricity in your house.
