Here’s the Quick Tip: don’t use green board in showers or tubs.
Instead, use cement board like DuRock or Wonder Board and waterproof it.
You can also use Schluter Kerdi Board or Wedi Board.
This tip will save you from making a critical mistake in your bathroom remodeling project. The last thing you need is to have a beautiful tile job removed because the substrate wasn’t waterproofed.
