Originally from California but raised in New England, Kyana was working in college athletics in Boston when she took a spontaneous trip to Iceland in 2018. Not long after, she made a life-changing decision—she quit her job, sold her belongings, and bought a one-way ticket back to Iceland, where she now lives full-time.
