This week on the show we speak to Saliha Rashid who is now hoping to become a barrister after she completed a top university degree. The 21-year-old campaigner who is registered blind is using her experiences to campaign for the rights of Asian women and spoke recently at the House of Lords. She is now hoping to work in the field of criminal and human rights law. Saliha Rashid has also won both the ‘Young Achiever’ and ‘Woman of Achievement’ award at the annual Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards. We speak to her about her life and future plans.
