Dana is the creator of Radius Yoga and director of Radius Yoga Conditioning, an international yoga-based, functional mobility training business designed to empower people to move, breathe and focus better within the context of their lives. Specializing in professional sports, Dana integrates Radius Yoga into athlete training to enhance performance and decrease injury. She’s the team yoga mobility trainer for numerous teams in MLB, NHL, NFL and the NBA, including the Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Lightning; she’s also mobility consultant to many other pro & collegiate teams, including USF Men’s Basketball, and private yoga trainer for dozens of individual professional and Olympic athletes, including PGA, LPGA and WTA pros. Nicknamed the “Mobility Maker,” over the last ten+ years, she’s worked with more than 35 teams and hundreds of athletes in the NHL, MLB, NFL, NBA, MLS, PGA, LPGA & WTA. While living in Boston, she proudly served as yoga trainer to the Boston Fire Department.
As an international expert in health and wellness, who wants to help all people–not just athletes–move, breathe and feel better, Dana is the yoga/movement expert for CNN and CNN Health, and the Chief Mobility Advisor for Zami Life.
Specializing in integrative mobility, functional movement and breathing biomechanics, she has received extensive training through the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) as well as certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Dana earned her B.A. cum laude from Tufts University. As an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) and educator, she formerly ran a Radius Yoga 200-hr teacher training program through Yoga Alliance, certifying Radius Yoga instructors. She continually hones her skills & expertise through research, additional coursework, and by learning from the team trainers and coaches she works with on an ongoing basis.
