In politics Bronze has become the new Gold. Who knew that finishing 3rd was so compelling and great? Well, after Iowa, you would think that to finish 3rd is the best thing a campaign could do, evidenced by the way the media played up Marco Rubio finishing third, while discounting all the reasons Ted Cruz won. Interestingly though, just days prior to the Iowa Caucuses, the media gave Cruz little chance of beating Trump, but even Donald’s 2nd place finish was met with little fanfare. Daniel and Joe break down why this happened and what it means moving forward.
Mainstream media has a bias; we know that, but to see it in full force this week after Iowa is mind numbing. The results in Iowa tell a compelling story for many of the candidates, but instead the media has been reporting on things that didn’t happen.
