Today on the Wasted Ammo Podcast, Eric needed a therapy session so we decided to rant about our frustrations when it comes to the gun community, firearms, training and carrying that gun effectively. A lot of these frustrations come down to us being Broke Gun Enthusiasts that strive for a level of proficiency that is costly so it does get frustrating. Is getting professional training something that everyone should strive for? Yes but not all of us can afford that luxury so a lot of us must make due with youtube training and rely on professional opinion online that all too often showcases and recommend guns like the Salient Arms Glock that costs $3,000.......really? If you want a $3000 Glock then by all means get it, we are just saying that you can be just as proficient with a base model Glock for $600 and a whole lot of bullets.
Don't misconstrue our words in this episode, we highly respect the opinion and professional experience of people who strap on a gun every day and risk their lives; what we are saying is that you shouldn't take their opinion (Or even ours) as the be-all-end-all. Take the time to cipher through the information, pull out what you like, tweak it and mold it so it works for you!
