Fred Hobby is a national thought leader on the subject of diversity in healthcare management. The former President of the Institute for Diversity for Healthcare Management, Mr. Hobby has played a crucial role in helping expand the ranks of diversity candidates in senior management roles.
But in 2012, progress stalled out and the numbers of minority executives actually declined. There have been no appreciable gains since then. Moreover, there are no clear cut reasons for this surprising change.
