Know Your Practice Numbers

One of my favorite guilty pleasures when winding down to relax, is to watch an episode of the hit the ABC T.V show Shark Tank.

 On the show, entrepreneurs from around the world go to the “tank” and pitch their businesses, hoping for one of the “sharks” to give them an investment.

Some get a deal. Others don’t.

But I’ve noticed something interesting. The majority of companies that don’t get a deal have one thing in common.

They don’t know their numbers.

Now think back to your practice.   Do you know your numbers as well as you should? Maybe you’ve spent some time on it.   But knowing some of your numbers just won’t cut it.

You have to REALLY know them.
