Highlights from this week’s show.We start off the show by recapping the match vs Sacramento Republic FC. The game ended 2-2 as Harrison Delbridge headed home the equalizer late in stoppage time. Are you concerned with the defense now that it appears Austin Berry may have suffered a significant injury to his arm? What about the offense? Only 6 shots mustered up in that game on Saturday night. Or do you just consider this preseason and don’t take much stock in the performances?
FC Cincinnati hosted a watch party at MadTree 2.0 on Saturday night. The club unveiled their highly anticipated alternate kit. A black jersey with gray on the shoulders. Basically, it’s the US Men’s National team kit just in black/gray. The jersey is receiving mixed reviews among FC Cincinnati fans, even some of us staff members have differing viewpoints on the kits. What say you?
We opened up the phone lines as well this week and had some great callers. We caught up with Colin Hill from The Bailey Bastards. Colin tells us how the Bastards got their start last season. The Supporters Group is growing and having a great time. They’re even planning a bus trip of their own later this summer.
