New research shows that migraine sufferers have an increased risks of cardiovascular problems including heart attacks, stroke, blood clots and an irregular heart rate. A large study conducted by Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark and Stanford University here in the US looked at over a half million people, both migraine sufferers and non-migraine sufferers. For every 1,000 patients, 25 patients with migraine had a heart attack compared with 17 migraine free patients and 45 patients with migraine had a blood clot related stroke compared with 25 migraine free patients. The findings prove that a history of migraine headaches should be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and events.

After graduating with honors, he went on to earn a PhD in Clinical Hypnotherapy from Breyer State University. In addition to hypnotherapy, Dr. McGrail is also certified in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-Programming), Time Line ™ Therapy, Therapeutic Imagery and EFT
John – you had an incredible history before finding this calling. You were a proud veteran of our military, having served as a commissioned officer and aviator in the United States Coast Guard.
