Fortnite, the wildly popular video game that gamers love and parents (might) lament is taking the world by storm.
The Epic Games title is enjoyed around the world. Kids play it. Adults play it. Even rapper Drake and superstar athletes play it.
Fortnite has two game modes: Save the World and Battle Royale. The game started out with only the Save the World mode, where players cooperate with their team to fight in-game monsters by gathering equipment, more powerful weapons, and building structures.
Later, Battle Royale was added--an online game mode in which players either join a few friends or go it solo, parachuting onto an island with 99 other players. The goal is to be the last one standing. Think Hunger Games.
The Creative Director for Epic Games, Donald Mustard, is a local Utahn. He joined the JayMac News Show earlier today to discuss the success of Fortnite, and also ask the questions parents want to know about the game.
