Dr. Roberta V. Kraus is currently featured as an expert in a new video series launched by TrueSport, an educational program powered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that inspires athletes, coaches, parents, and administrators to change the culture of youth sport through active engagement based on cornerstone lessons of sportsmanship, character-building, and clean and healthy performance. Outside of her work with TrueSport, Roberta is President of the Center for Sports Psychology in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Roberta was also the Sports Psychologist for the USA Men’s and Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball teams, who both won the Gold medal at the Paralympic Games in 2016. Her international reputation comes from extensive experience designing and implementing specific mental training programs about peak performance, team leadership, developmental coaching, group dynamics, communications, and motivation. Her expertise is highlighted in the TrueSport Expert Series, a video series that addresses many of the key issues coaches, parents, and athletes face in youth sports, including mental toughness, effective goal-setting, and parental expectations.
