This month marks the 5th anniversary of Frankie Knuckles’ passing (known as The Godfather of House Music). If he hadn’t moved to Chicago and influenced a whole genre of music, I’m not quite sure what music I’d dance to now. In my latest mix, Purple Potion, I believe it is his voice on the first sample of the mix. With his deep love of melodies, I’d like to think he might enjoy a little Purple Potion.
