#018 Miss, Mrs or Ms?

After a flurry of DM’s after an Instagram story highlighting this topic we decided to delve into the subject of salutations. Verity questions if she is the worst feminist in the world by hating the word Ms whilst Charelle wonders if she would go back to Miss if she ever got divorced. Lot’s of women question why we have to prove our marital status with our title when men can hide behind theirs. We also step onto the path of taking your partner’s name in marriage also and the complications of surnames when it comes to the breakdown of marriages and family relationships.

Should we smash the patriarchy and just have the single option of Ms? Or can we live in a world where tradition can ride alongside the feminist movement?
