It was December 1990 - almost Christmastime. Everything seemed routine for Norine Brown, a New Hyde Park mother of two. Except her best friends say she had recently revealed to them that there was trouble in her marriage. A few weeks later, Brown vanished on the night before her 32nd birthday. Her husband, John, told police that she had gone to the supermarket ... at 11 p.m. Flyers were posted, a wooded area was searched, and police asked questions. News 12 Long Island followed the disappearance. Norine Brown was never found, and her friends want to know why. News 12 Long Island's Eileen Lehpamer agreed to examine the case in this episode of True Crime Long Island.
