In this episode, I share one of the biggest lessons that I learned about grief and creating meaning again after a loss. It was something that my dad said to me right after my baby died and it helped me through some of my most sad most moments. I carried this piece of wisdom with me years later when I was really ill and it is one of the first things I shared with my daughter when her best friend passed on.
The lesson I learned and still apply today in any of life's harder situations was about remembering all of the gifts, all of the good and being grateful for what I did have and not just focusing on what was lost.
